Herstory

Our Herstory:

In 1991, the Colorado Peaches began with an idea, a coach, and a manager. Along the way they won silver (1995, 1997) and gold (1999) medals at the Senior Olympics and became known for the “team with the mostest fun and competition.”

In 2012, six Peaches retired having played for 21 years.

In 2013/14, the team recruited players and competed in the Huntsman World Senior Games without a coach.

In 2015, Colorado Peaches ages 74-84 were a 13-member team. Blessed with an extraordinary coach, Gail Klock, they played their best and looked like a real team.

In 2016, the Peaches became a force to contend with and won the bronze medal at the Hunstman World Senior Games and were honored by the Sportswomen of Colorado.

In 2017, the Peaches added younger players and grew to a 25-member team, ages 52-86.

In 2018, the Colorado Peaches gained enough members to field three intergenerational teams, and played in two tournaments.

In 2019, won silver in the Nationals in Albuquerque, NM, with our first mixed-aged team.

In 2022, our 79+team won gold at Huntsman because there was no competition in their age category.
